The Taipei Heping Basketball High School

The WTA tournament in Taipei (officially: Taiwan Open ) is a former women's tennis tournament of the WTA Tour , which was held in Taiwan's capital Taipei .

Since 2017, a WTA tournament has been held in the capital again, which previously took place in Kaohsiung . The first year of the resumption was played in the Taipei Arena , which had a capacity of 15,000 seats. The following year they went to Taipei Heping Basketball High School .

In 2019 the tournament license moved to Hua Hin .
