Kyōko Nagatsuka ( Japanese 長 塚 京 子 , Nagatsuka Kyōko ; born February 22, 1974 in Chiba , Chiba Prefecture ) is a former Japanese tennis player .
Career
Kyōko Nagatsuka won two double titles on the WTA Tour in her professional career between 1989 and 2001 . Another title was won at the ITF level.
In 1995 she achieved her best placements in the tennis world rankings with rank 28 in singles and 31st in doubles . Her two WTA tournament wins in doubles were at the tournament in Hobart , 1995 with Ai Sugiyama and 1996 at the side of Yayuk Basuki .
She also competed in doubles with Ai Sugiyama at the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta, but they failed in round one. Another frequent double partner of Nagatsuka was Yone Kamio .
From 1995 to 1997 Nagatsuka played six times (two wins) for the Japanese Fed Cup team .
