Yone Kamio ( Japanese 神 尾 米 , Kamio Yone ; born November 22, 1971 in Yokohama , Kanagawa Prefecture ) is a former Japanese tennis player .

Career

Yone Kamio's professional tennis career lasted from 1987 to 1996. During this period, she did not win a tournament on the WTA tour . At ITF level, she won an individual title. The Japanese achieved her best place in the women's world rankings with 24th place in singles (1995) and 65th place in doubles (1994). She played with Kyōko Nagatsuka , Naoko Kijimuta , Ayako Hirose and Ai Sugiyama in women's doubles , among others .
