The WTA tournament in Osaka (officially: Japan Women's Open Tennis , formerly HP Japan Women's Open Tennis , HP Open for short ) is a tennis tournament of the WTA Tour that was held in the Japanese city ​​of Osaka from 2009 to 2014 . The tournament has been held in Tokyo since 2015 .

The most successful participant to date is Samantha Stosur with three individual titles (2009, 2013, 2014) and another finals in 2011.
