The Osaka ATP tournament (officially Salem Open ) is a former men's tennis tournament that was held in Osaka , Japan in 1993 and 1994 . The venue was the Esaka Tennis Center and the game was played on outdoor hard courts. The Salem Open replaced the Singapore tournament in the event calendar of the ATP Tour . The competition was always held at the end of March and was part of the ATP World Series, the predecessor of the ATP World Tour 250 .

Neither in singles nor in doubles has a player managed to win both stages of the tournament.
