David Adams (born January 5, 1970 in Durban ) is a former South African tennis player .
Career
The doubles specialist began his professional career in 1989 and was able to win a total of 19 titles in doubles competitions until his retirement in 2003. He was in a final 33 more times, including the 1992 French Open final ; it was his greatest success in a Grand Slam tournament .
The Davis Cup player achieved the highest world rankings in singles in October 1994 with 131st place and in doubles in February of the same year with 9th place.
