Jan-Michael Charles Gambill (born June 3, 1977 in Spokane , Washington ) is a retired American tennis player .
life and career
Gambill reached rank 14 on June 18, 2001, the highest placement in the individual tennis world rankings. He is known for his unusual two-handed forehand. The American is trained by his father Chuck Gambill, who also looks after Jan-Michael's younger brother Torrey.
He won three singles and five doubles titles on the ATP Tour before he played his last professional tennis match in September 2010.
