In 1992 he won his first double title on the ATP World Tour at the side of Jared Palmer in Wellington . In the same year he won the double title of Sydney with Patrick McEnroe , both were also in the final of the Masters tournament in Cincinnati . Stark also reached his first individual final on the ATP World Tour that year; at the lawn tournament of Rosmalen he lost in the final against Michael Stich . He won his first individual title the following year in Bolzano by beating Cédric Pioline in the final . In 1994, after a highly successful year, he took part in the ATP World Tour Finals for the first time with his doubles partner Byron Black . In his second participation with Rick Leach in 1997, he was able to win the double title at the Tour Finals. In total, he won 19 ATP double titles in the course of his career.
