David Prinosil (born March 9, 1973 in Olomouc , Czechoslovakia , now the Czech Republic) is a former German tennis player .
Career
Prinosil won three singles and ten doubles titles in his career. In 1993 he moved with Marc-Kevin Goellner into the double-finals of the French Open , which the two lost to the Americans Luke and Murphy Jensen . In 1996 he won the bronze medal in doubles at the Olympic Games in Atlanta together with Goellner. He reached his highest positions in the world rankings with 28th place in singles and 12th place in doubles in 2001.
In the German Davis Cup team , to which he belonged from 1996 to 2003, he was used in nine singles and twelve doubles matches. He ended his professional career in June 2004.
