Richard Vogel (born August 13, 1964 in Ostrava ) is a Czech tennis coach and former tennis player.
Career
In 1987 Vogel and Branislav Stankovič won the gold medal at the Summer Universiade .
In his career he played two of the four Grand Slams in singles and lost in the first round, at the French Open in 1989 against Aaron Krickstein and at the Wimbledon Championships in 1991 against Jacco Eltingh . The match against Eltingh set a new Wimbledon record with four tie-breaks in one game.
During the ATP Tour , he achieved his best result in 1992 when he and David Prinosil won doubles at the Croatia Open . His best individual result was in 1991 at the ATP Kitzbühel .
