Karl Charamsa
Karl Charamsa (born April 19, 1927 in Vienna ; † April 29, 1983 ibid) was an Austrian musician and composer .
Life
Charamsa grew up with wine growers in the Wachau , his parents were Schrammel musicians , and so he studied guitar privately (1947 stage examination with the double guitar ). He founded the Schrammel trio Die Schmelzer Spatzen (appearances in the Salzkammergut and Switzerland ), Die 3 Colibris , who were active in the Vienna area and on tours in Switzerland, the Netherlands and Germany . Charamsa played in several ensembles , completed a vocal training , had many appearances on television and was also present on recordings and radio recordings.
His grave is in the Sieveringer Friedhof (group 19, row 4, number 12) in Vienna.
