Lars Koslowski (born May 22, 1971 in Kassel ) is a former German tennis player .
Career
Koslowski, who was coached by Karl Meiler , began his professional career after contradicting information either in 1988 or 1989. Both in 1988 and 1989 he reached the quarter-finals at the Challenger tournament in Brisbane, Australia. In 1989 he also reached the semi-finals of the Munich Challenger tournament with double partner Arne Thoms . The semifinals at the Challenger tournament in Thessaloniki, Greece, in both singles and doubles competition at Markus Naewie's side in 1990 was followed by his first tournament victory at the Challenger Series tournament in Seville in 1991. In Stuttgart, his path to victories led him to the semi-finals via Goran Prpić and Guy Forget, among others , which he lost as well as the final of the Challenger tournament in Bielefeld that year. In 1992 he was defeated in the double ranking of the ATP Umag together with Sander Groen only in the final. Lars Koslowski achieved the best individual result at a Grand Slam tournament at the Australian Open in 1992 when he advanced into the third round.
His highest career placement in the world rankings in singles reached Koslowski on June 15, 1992 with the 63rd place. In the double ranking he was listed on September 14, 1992 at rank 112. In total, he won $ 265,437 in prize money over the course of his career.
In the club he played in 1993 for Blau-Weiss Neuss and in 2008 for ETuF Essen , of which he was the captain, in the Bundesliga.
