Federico Mordegan (born February 1, 1970 in Vicenza ) is a former Italian tennis player .

Career

Federico Mordegan was mainly active in doubles. On the ATP Challenger Tour he achieved six tournament victories in his career, on the ATP World Tour he won the title in Estoril in 1994 alongside Cristian Brandi . In addition, he was on the World Tour in five other finals: 1990 with Cristiano Caratti in Genoa , 1992 in San Marino and 1994 in Casablanca as well as Athens with Cristian Brandi and 1995 again in San Marino with Pablo Albano . He achieved the best ratings in the ATP world rankings in singles in 1990 with position 243 and in doubles in 1995 with position 70.

In the individual, he could never qualify for a Grand Slam tournament . In the doubles competition, he never got past the opening round. In 1991 he took part in the Australian Open and the Wimbledon Championships , in 1994 at the French Open , again in Wimbledon and at the US Open .
