Peter Tramacchi (born November 8, 1970 in Gympie , Queensland ) is a retired Australian tennis player .

Career

Tramacchi achieved the majority of his successes in doubles competitions and in 1999 moved up to position 45 in the doubles world rankings. A year earlier, he achieved his only tournament victory on the ATP Tour , and in Grand Slam tournaments, making it into the round of 16 of the Australian Open was his greatest success.

In mixed, he also made it into the quarter-finals at the Australian Open 2001 with compatriot Rachel McQuillan , while in his individual career he was not granted a tournament victory or a progression beyond the second round at a Grand Slam tournament.
