Fleurian became a professional tennis player in 1985. The following year he reached the individual finals of an ATP tournament for the first time in Itaparica . He was defeated there after victories, among others, over Jaime Yzaga and Luiz Mattar in the final Andrés Gómez . In 1987 he was in the semifinals of Seoul and the following year in the semifinals of the doubles competition in Båstad . In the following years he achieved further good results on the ATP Tour, but also played on the ATP Challenger Tour , where he was defeated in the final of the tournament by Ilhéus Richard Fromberg in 1989 . In 1991 he was in Auckland for the second and last time in an ATP individual final, where he was defeated by Karel Nováček . In 1994 he reached a double-final for the first time alongside Jakob Hlasek . After another final in Marseille in 1995, he was able to celebrate his only tournament victory on the ATP World Tour the following year with Guillaume Raoux . On the Challenger Tour he won several titles, including singles in São Paulo and doubles in Brasília . He reached his highest scores in the ATP world rankings in 1990 with position 37 in singles and 55 in doubles.
