The WTA Mallorca (officially: Mallorca Open ) was a tennis tournament of the WTA Tour that has been held in Santa Ponça since 2016 . It was held parallel to WTA Birmingham in the second week of the grass season, which has been extended to five weeks since 2015.
To this end, a multifunctional sports complex with five tennis courts was built in cooperation with the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club of Wimbledon . In the second week of June 2016, 32 players competed in the singles (main field) for the first time.
