Andreja Klepač (born March 13, 1986 in Koper ) is a Slovenian tennis player .

Career

In 2008 she celebrated her greatest sporting success in singles when she entered the final of the WTA clay court tournament in Budapest (Category: Tier III). She defeated there, among other things, the top 20 player Swetlana Kuznetsova , before losing to Alizé Cornet 6: 7, 5 and 3: 6. She has also won three titles at ITF tournaments so far .

In July 2013, she celebrated her first WTA title in doubles . At the side of Sandra Klemenschits , she defeated the pairing Kristina Barrois / Eleni Daniilidou . In the 2014 season, she won two more tournaments in doubles, with alternating partners she won a total of 6 WTA and 13 ITF tournaments.

She has been playing for the Slovenian Fed Cup team since July 2004, and has finished 14 of her 38 games so far as the winner.

Apart from the Fed Cup , Andreja Klepač has mostly only competed in doubles since July 2013.
