Sabine Appelmans (born April 22, 1972 in Aalst ) is a former Belgian tennis player .

Career

Sabine Appelmans won seven individual WTA tennis tournaments in her career, including two tournaments each in Linz and Pattaya . She also won four double titles on the WTA Tour .

She took part in three individual Olympic Games. She achieved her best performance at the 1992 Olympics in Barcelona, ​​when she lost to the top seeded Steffi Graf in the quarter- finals. In doubles, she went to the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta, where she reached the second round.
