Katrina Adams (born August 5, 1968 in Chicago , Illinois ) is a former American tennis player .
Career
Adams played on the professional tour from the US Open in 1986 . In her career she won a total of 18 double titles on the WTA Tour . In August 1989 she was number 8 in the double world rankings. In 1999 she resigned from professional sports.
She has been the President of the United States Tennis Association since January 2015 .
