Jill Hetherington (born October 27, 1964 in Brampton ) is a former Canadian tennis player . She is currently the head coach at the University of Washington .
Career
Hetherington studied at the University of Florida in Gainesville , where she played for the Florida Gators team from 1984 to 1987. During this time she was called to the All-American every year .
As a professional player, she won a single and 14 double titles on the WTA Tour . Her best results in Grand Slam tournaments were her finals in doubles in 1988 at the US Open and 1989 at the Australian Open and in mixed 1995 at the French Open .
For the Canadian Fed Cup team , she appeared in 36 games between 1983 and 1996, of which she won 16.
