Nicole Arendt (born August 26, 1969 in Somerville , New Jersey ) is a former American tennis player .

Career

Nicole Arendt was particularly successful in doubles in her career. In women's doubles, she won 16 WTA tournaments and eight titles on the ITF Women's Circuit . In 1997 she lost her partner Manon Bollegraf in the doubles competition of Wimbledon until the final Gigi Fernandez and Natasha Zvereva . In the same year she achieved her best position in the double world rankings with position 3 .

In mixed she was twice in the final of a Grand Slam tournament : with her compatriot Luke Jensen she lost both the finals of the Australian Open and the French Open in 1996 .
