Inés Gorrochategui (born June 13, 1973 in Córdoba ) is a former Argentine tennis player .

Career

Gorrochategui, who started tennis at the age of seven, became a professional player when she was 18.

In her career she won seven double titles each on the WTA Tour and on the ITF Women's Circuit . In 1993 she stood with her partner Amanda Coetzer in the final of the doubles competition of the US Open , which they lost in straight sets against Arantxa Sánchez Vicario and Helena Suková .

In the Fed Cup she played 17 games for the Argentine team from 1990 to 1999 , of which she was able to make 14 victorious.

In 1999 Inés Gorrochategui ended her professional career.
