The Serbian Fed Cup team is the national tennis team of Serbia , which is used in the Fed Cup . The Fed Cup (until 1995 Federation Cup) is the most important competition for national teams in women's tennis, analogous to the Davis Cup for men.

history

The Serbian team is the successor to the Yugoslav team and the Serbia and Montenegro team in terms of historical statistics in the Fed Cup. For the first time as an independent country, Serbia took part in the Fed Cup in 2007. In 2009, a 4-0 win in the play-offs against Spain made it into World Group 1 for the first time.
