The Swedish Fed Cup team is the national tennis team of Sweden used in the Fed Cup . The Fed Cup (until 1995 Federation Cup) is the most important competition for national teams in women's tennis, analogous to the Davis Cup for men.

history

Sweden took part in the Fed Cup for the first time in 1964. The best performance so far came in 1970, 1977, 1980 and 1988 when they reached the quarter-finals.
