Lyubomira Batschewa ( Bulgarian Любомира Бачева ; born March 7, 1975 in Sofia ) is a former Bulgarian tennis player .

Career

Batschewa began playing tennis at the age of five. On the WTA Tour she celebrated two tournament wins in doubles in her career.

Her first title win came in 2000 with Cristina Torrens Valero in Budapest with a 6-0, 6-2 final win over the pairing Jelena Kostanić / Sandra Načuk . The following year she was successful at the side of Åsa Carlsson , with whom she defeated María José Martínez Sánchez and María Emilia Salerni 6: 3, 6: 7, 4 and 6: 1 in the final of Casablanca .

She also won seven singles and seven doubles titles at the ITF Women's Circuit .

For the Bulgarian Fed Cup team , she played a total of seven games from 1993 to 1996 with a rather modest record (singles 0: 4, doubles 1: 2).
