The 2004 Canberra Women's Classic was a WTA hard court tennis tournament for women in Canberra . It was part of the 2004 WTA Tour as a Tier V category tournament . The tournament took place from January 9th to 17th, 2004.
Qualification for the Canberra Women's Classic 2004 took place January 9-11, 2004. Four qualifying places for the singles and one qualification place for the doubles were played, which entitle them to participate in the main draw of the tournament.
