The 2004 Hansol Korea Open was a hard court tennis tournament for women in Seoul . It was part of the 2004 WTA Tour as a Tier IV category tournament . The tournament took place from September 25th to October 3rd, 2004.

In the individual, Marija Sharapova won against Marta Domachowska 6-1 and 6-1. In doubles, the pairing Cho Yoon-jeong / Jeon Mi-ra won 6: 3, 1: 6 and 7: 5 against Chuang Chia-jung / Hsieh Su-wei .

The qualification for the Hansol Korea Open 2004 took place from 25th to 27th September 2004. Four qualifying places for the singles and one qualification place for the doubles were played, which entitle them to participate in the main draw of the tournament.
