Hopman Cup 2004

The Hopman Cup in 2004 was the 16th edition of the tennis tournament in Australia's Perth . It was held from January 3 to January 10, 2004.

The last participant was played between Hungary and Canada. In this play-off, Hungary prevailed 2-1. Canada was nevertheless able to play in the preliminary round because the Belgian team was unable to play their last preliminary round match against Hungary due to an injury to Kim Clijsters. The team from Australia actually in the final could not take part due to an injury to Alicia Molik and was replaced by the runner-up of the group Slovakia.

In the final, the team in the person of Lindsay Davenport and James Blake from the United States won 2-1 against the team Daniela Hantuchová and Karol Kučera from Slovakia.
