The 2004 Hastings Direct International Championships was a women's WTA grass tennis court tournament in Eastbourne . It was part of the 2004 WTA Tour as a Tier II category tournament . The tournament took place from June 12th to 19th, 2004.

In the singles Svetlana Kuznetsova won against Daniela Hantuchová with 2: 6, 7: 6 2 and 6: 4. In doubles, the pairing Alicia Molik / Magüi Serna won 6: 4 and 6: 4 against Swetlana Kuznetsova / Jelena Lichowzewa .

Qualification for the Hastings Direct International Championships 2004 took place from June 12-14, 2004. Four qualifying places for the singles and one qualification place for the doubles were played, which entitle them to participate in the main draw of the tournament.
