The Women's AEGON International 2012 was a women's tennis grass court tournament in Eastbourne . As a premier category tournament, it was part of the WTA Tour 2012 and took place from June 16 to 23, 2012. At the same time the UNICEF Open was held in 's-Hertogenbosch , which, however, belonged to the International category .

Defending champion in the singles was the French Marion Bartoli , who was eliminated in the semifinals. She lost to the later title holder Tamira Paszek from Austria. She had to fend off five match points against the German Angelique Kerber in the final before she could secure the title. In doubles, Květa Peschke and Katarina Srebotnik were the defending champions, this time they were eliminated in the semifinals. In this year's final, the Spaniards Nuria Llagostera Vives and María José Martínez Sánchez defeated last year's finalists Liezel Huber and Lisa Raymond , who had to give up after losing the first set.

Four qualifying places were played out for the individual, which entitle them to participate in the main field of the tournament.
