The Memphis International 2012 were a hard court tennis tournament for women in Memphis . It was part of the WTA Tour 2012 as a tournament in the International category . The tournament took place from February 19-26, 2012. An ATP tournament for men took place parallel to the women's tournament .

In the singles the unseeded Swede Sofia Arvidsson won against the fourth placed Marina Eraković from New Zealand, who is much higher in the world rankings . For Arvidsson it was the second title on the WTA tour. She also achieved the first at Memphis International in 2006. In doubles, the top seeded Czech pairing Andrea Hlaváčková / Lucie Hradecká prevailed against Vera Duschewina / Wolha Hawarzowa . In the previous year, this year's winners failed at the same point against Dushevina with their partner at the time, Alla Kudrjawzewa . For Hlaváčková / Hradecká, the win in Memphis was already the second joint tournament victory in 2012 after Auckland .
