Jasmin Wöhr (born August 21, 1980 in Tübingen ) is a former German tennis player .
Career
Jasmin Wöhr, who started tennis at the age of four, was particularly successful in doubles. In 1997 she won the women's junior tournament at the Australian Open in doubles. After a serious skiing accident in 2003, she fell in WTA - world ranking far behind. Since then she has played almost exclusively doubles with changing partners.
At four WTA tournaments she was able to enter herself in the list of winners. She won her last title in 2011 with Johanna Larsson in Copenhagen . In 2010 she celebrated a victory over the top seeded pairing Marija Kondratjewa / Vladimíra Uhlířová at the final in Istanbul with Eleni Daniilidou . Already in 2002 she won with her then Austrian partner Barbara Schwartz , who ended her career in 2006, in Brussels (final victory against Tathiana Garbin and Arantxa Sánchez-Vicario ) and in 2004 in Bogotá (against Anabel Medina Garrigues and Arantxa Parra Santonja ). At two other WTA tournaments, Wöhr was in the double-finals in 2006.
She also won 23 ITF tournaments with various partners .
Between 2004 and 2008 Jasmin Wöhr played for Germany in the Fed Cup . Your record shows three wins and one defeat (only doubles).
She played her last game as a professional player at the end of May 2012 at the French Open alongside Tamira Paszek , when the two were eliminated in straight sets against Vania King and Jaroslawa Schwedowa in the first round .
