The Regions Morgan Keegan Championships 2012 was a tennis tournament that took place from February 20-26, 2012 in Memphis . It was part of the ATP World Tour 2012 and was played indoors on a hard court. In the same week, the Open 13 was played in Marseille and the Copa Claro in Buenos Aires . In contrast to the Regions Morgan Keegan Championships, which belonged to the ATP World Tour 500 category, these only belonged to the ATP World Tour 250 category .

The defending champion in singles, Andy Roddick , was eliminated in the first round. Tournament winner was Jürgen Melzer , who beat Milos Raonic in the final .

In doubles, Max Mirny and Daniel Nestor successfully defended their title from the previous year by beating Ivan Dodig and Marcelo Melo in the final .

The field of participants in the individual competition consisted of 32 players, that of the doubles competition consisted of 16 pairs.

qualification

The qualification took place from February 18-19, 2012. Four qualifying places were played, which entitle them to participate in the main draw of the tournament.
