The Delray Beach International Tennis Championships 2012 was a tennis tournament that took place from February 27 to March 4, 2012 in Delray Beach . It was part of the ATP World Tour 2012 and was played on hard court. In the same week the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships were played in Dubai and the Abierto Mexicano Telcel in Acapulco . However, in contrast to the Delray Beach International Tennis Championships, which belongs to the ATP World Tour 250 category, these belonged to the ATP World Tour 500 category .

In the singles Juan Martín del Potro was the defending champion, but he played at the tournament in Dubai that week. The defending champions in doubles, Scott Lipsky and Rajeev Ram , also competed in Dubai.

The field of participants in the individual competition consisted of 32 players, that of the doubles competition consisted of 16 pairs.

qualification

The qualification took place from February 25-27, 2012. Four qualifying places were played, which entitle them to participate in the main draw of the tournament.
