The Abierto Mexicano Telcel 2012 was a tennis tournament of the WTA Tour 2012 for women and a tennis tournament of the ATP World Tour 2012 for men in Acapulco and took place simultaneously from February 27 to March 3, 2012.
Defending champion in the singles was David Ferrer in the men and Gisela Dulko in the women. In the men's doubles the pairing Victor Hănescu and Horia Tecău , in the women's doubles the pairing Marija Korytzewa and Ioana Raluca Olaru, the defending champions.
