The Abierto Mexicano Telcel 2009 was a tennis tournament of the WTA Tour 2009 for women and a tennis tournament of the ATP World Tour 2009 for men in Acapulco and took place simultaneously from February 23rd to 28th, 2009.
Defending champion in the singles was Nicolás Almagro for the men and Flavia Pennetta for the women. In the men's doubles the pairing of Oliver Marach and Michal Mertiňák , in the women's doubles the pairing Nuria Vives and María Sánchez, the defending champions.
