The Serbia Open 2012 was a tennis tournament that took place from April 30th to May 6th, 2012 in Belgrade . It was part of the ATP World Tour 2012 and was played on clay court. In the same week, the Estoril Open was played in Estoril and the BMW Open in Munich , which, like the Serbia Open, belonged to the ATP World Tour 250 category .

Defending champion in the singles was Novak Đoković , who decided not to participate for family reasons. In this year's final, Andreas Seppi prevailed in two sets against Benoît Paire , who had reached an ATP final for the first time in his career. This was the second ATP title in Seppi's career almost a year after his debut title.

Last year's winners in doubles, František Čermák and Filip Polášek , competed at the tournament in Munich this year and won the title there. In this year's final, Jonathan Erlich and Andy Ram won in three sets against Martin Emmrich and Andreas Siljeström . This was their 15th joint ATP title, but the first title on clay court. Erlich had also won three other titles with other partners, Ram four. For Emmrich and Siljeström, however, it was the first joint ATP final, Siljeström had previously played another ATP final with another partner and lost.

The field of participants in the single competition consisted of 28 players, that of the doubles competition consisted of 16 pairs. The four top seeded players in the singles each got a bye into the second round.
