Nikola Čačić ( Serbian - Cyrillic Никола Чачић , born December 7, 1990 in Banja Luka , Bosnia and Herzegovina ) is a Serbian tennis player .

Career

Nikola Čačić mainly plays on the ATP Challenger Tour and the ITF Future Tour . So far he has celebrated three single and 21 double victories on the Future Tour. He has never had such a success on the higher endowed Challenger Tour. He made his debut on the ATP World Tour in Belgrade in 2010 , where he and Marko Đoković received a wildcard for the main draw. There they met Leonardo Mayer and Horacio Zeballos in the first round , to whom they were defeated in three sets. It was two years before his second appearance on the highest tour when he was again in the main draw with a wildcard, this time losing the first round game against Ilija Bozoljac . In October 2012 he played in Umag on the side of Dušan Lajović , where they were placed as a substitute duo in fourth position, but failed in the first round.

He won his first title on the Challenger Tour in doubles alongside Yang Tsung-hua in Schymkent . With this success he improved to 140th place in the world rankings , his previous career high.
