Marcelo Arévalo (born October 17, 1990 in Sonsonate ) is a Salvadoran tennis player . He is the brother of Rafael Arévalo , also a tennis professional from El Salvador.
Career
Marcelo Arévalo mainly plays on the ATP Challenger Tour and the ITF Future Tour . He has celebrated five single and ten double victories on the Future Tour so far. On the Challenger Tour he won the doubles tournament in Manta in 2013 . On May 27, 2013, he broke through the top 350 in the world rankings for the first time and his highest ranking was a 176th place in August 2016.
Marcelo Arévalo has played for the Salvadoran Davis Cup team since 2005 . For this he competed in 17 matches and has a single balance of 22:15 and a double balance of 15: 9.
