The ATP Challenger Bogotá (official name "Milo Open" ) was a tennis tournament taking place in Bogotá , Colombia, from 2005 . It was part of the ATP Challenger Tour and was played outdoors on a clay court. The record winner in the singles was the Brazilian Marcos Daniel , in the doubles the Argentine Brian Dabul was able to win most often; both won the tournament twice.
There was a bit of a scandal in 2011 in the double final: After a rally when the score was [6: 2] in the match tie-break , Juan Sebastián Cabal furiously threw his bat towards the net. However, this unintentionally only hit the edge of the net and then his opponent Izak van der Merwe on the head and shoulder. Due to the ATP regulations, Cabal and partner Robert Farah were then disqualified.
