The Bogotá ATP tournament (officially Claro Open Colombia ) was a men's tennis tournament that was last held in Bogotá , Colombia from 2013 . At the end of 2012 it became known that the rights to the tournament in Los Angeles had been sold to Bogotá and that an ATP tournament would take place in Colombia again . It was played on outdoor hard courts like in Los Angeles in the summer and was part of the ATP World Tour 250 ; The venue is the Centro de Alto Rendimiento . For the 2016 season, the tournament was discontinued in favor of the tournament in Los Cabos .

From 1994 to 2001 there was an ATP tournament in Bogotá at the same place, it was part of the ATP World Series and the ATP International Series - both predecessors of the ATP World Tour 250 - and was played outdoors on clay court. Between 2004 and 2010 it had the status of a Challenger tournament and was most recently known as the Bancolombia Open .

Bernard Tomic was the only player to win two singles titles (2015 and 2016). David Rikl achieved two wins in doubles (1995–1996); In addition, Mariano Puerta won one title each in singles (2000) and doubles (1998).
