The ATP tournament in Quito (officially Ecuador Open ) was a men's tennis tournament that was held from 2015 to 2018 in Quito , Ecuador . The tournament was played on outdoor clay courts and was part of the ATP World Tour 250 category . It succeeded the Viña del Mar tournament on the ATP World Tour calendar . The record winner in the singles is Víctor Estrella from the Dominican Republic, who won the first three of four editions of the tournament. Due to financing problems in the wake of the poor economic situation in the country, the tournament took place for the last time in 2018. It was replaced by the tournament in Cordoba .
