The international tennis tournament PBZ Zagreb Indoors was an annual ATP tournament held in Zagreb , Croatia . The first tournament was held in 2006; an indoor tournament was held in Zagreb as early as the 1990s, the Croatian Indoors . The first edition of this tournament took place in 1996 and after two seasons moved to Split for a year ; then the tournament did not take place for seven years.

A German-speaking player has not yet been able to enter the list of winners of the individual competition. The first tournament winner was Ivan Ljubičić , a Croat, and at the 2009, 2010 and 2013 events, a Croat named Marin Čilić was able to enter the list of winners; he is the only multiple title holder. In 2011 another Croatian won the tournament with Ivan Dodig, which confirms the dominance of Croatian tennis players in this tournament. The indoor tournament of the 90s was dominated by Goran Ivanišević , who won all three events in singles and was also victorious once in doubles.

The tournament took place in late February to early March and lasts for a week. The total prize money for the last edition was 439,405 euros. The winner received 74,000 euros. The last tournament director was Branimir Horvat.

For the 2016 season, the tournament was discontinued in favor of the Sofia tournament .
