The PBZ Zagreb Indoors 2009 was a tennis tournament that took place from February 2nd to 8th, 2009 in Zagreb . It was part of the ATP World Tour 2009 and was played indoors on a hard court. In the same week the SA Tennis Open was played in Johannesburg and the Movistar Open in Viña del Mar , which, like the PBZ Zagreb Indoors, belonged to the ATP World Tour 250 category .

Defending champion in the individual was Serhij Stachowskyj , but he was eliminated in the quarterfinals. In this year's final, Marin Čilić beat Mario Ančić 6: 3, 6: 4 in two sets . For Čilić this was already the second title of the current season after his tournament victory in Chennai and his third overall. In doubles, Paul Hanley and Jordan Kerr were the defending champions, but they were eliminated in the quarter-finals. In the final, the duo Martin Damm and Robert Lindstedt won against Christopher Kas and Rogier Wassen in two sets with 6: 4 and 6: 3.

The field of participants in the individual competition consisted of 32 players, that of the doubles competition consisted of 16 pairs. The prize money amounted to 398,250 euros; the total financial liabilities were 450,000 euros.

The qualification took place from January 31 to February 2, 2009. Four qualifying places were played, which entitle them to participate in the main draw of the tournament.
