The Estoril Open 2009 was a tennis tournament that took place from May 3rd to 9th, 2010 in Oeiras . It was part of the ATP World Tour 2010 and was played outdoors on sand. In the same week the Serbia Open was played in Belgrade and the BMW Open in Munich , which, like the Estoril Open, belonged to the ATP World Tour 250 category .

Defending champion in the singles was Roger Federer , who did not take part in the tournament this year. In the final, the Spaniard Albert Montañés defeated the American James Blake (tennis player) in three sets with 5: 7, 7: 6, 6 and 6: 0. This won the second individual title of his career. Defending champions in doubles were Jeff Coetzee and Wesley Moodie . Only Moodie took part in the tournament and was eliminated in the semifinals. In the doubles final, Eric Butorac and Scott Lipsky beat Martin Damm and Robert Lindstedt in straight sets 6: 3 and 6: 2.

The field of participants in the individual competition consisted of 32 players, that of the doubles competition consisted of 16 pairs. The total prize money was 398,250 euros, the total financial liabilities were 450,000 euros.

The qualification took place from May 1st to 3rd, 2009. Four qualifying places were played, which entitle them to participate in the main draw of the tournament.
