None of the previous year's winners ( Philipp Petzschner in the individual competition, Max Mirny and Andy Ram in the doubles) went to defend their title. In the individual, the Austrian Jürgen Melzer secured his second title on the ATP Tour. In the final he defeated the Croatian Marin Čilić 6: 4, 6: 3. He was the first Austrian winner since Horst Skoff in 1988 and only the second ever. In doubles, the Polish- Austrian duo Łukasz Kubot / Oliver Marach beat the purely Austrian team Julian Knowle / Jürgen Melzer with 2: 6, 6: 4, [11: 9]. Here, too, Marach was the first time since 1988, and the second time ever, an Austrian in the winning team (at that time Alexander Antonitsch won together with the Italian Balázs Taróczy ).
