He faced the Spaniard Tommy Robredo in the final and lost the game in three sets. For Robredo it was his second title and his ninth title overall after the success in Costa do Sauípe this season . In doubles, Agustín Calleri and Luis Horna were the defending champions, but they did not compete together this year. In this year's final, Marcel Granollers and Alberto Martín prevailed in three sets against Nicolás Almagro and Santiago Ventura . This was their first joint title.
