Devilder was particularly successful on the Challenger Tour . Between 2005 and 2008 he won a total of nine individual titles. In 2005 and 2010 there were also two doubles titles. On the ATP World Tour he could not achieve any major successes in singles, but in doubles he was able to secure a title. In 2008 he won the tournament in Bucharest against the Poles Mariusz Fyrstenberg and Marcin Matkowski at the side of Paul-Henri Mathieu . At the French Open in 2012 he reached the third round in singles, in which he failed at the later finalist Novak Đoković . In doubles, Devilder never made it past the second round in a Grand Slam tournament . In both disciplines he competed in all four Grand Slam tournaments.
