Navarro Pastor, who was only listed as "Navarro" by the ATP, was initially successful on the ATP Challenger Tour . He won five singles titles and three more doubles. At the World Tour level , he made it into a semi-finals twice: 2007 in Valencia and 2009 in 's-Hertogenbosch . In Valencia he only came into the main field as a lucky loser and was only stopped in three sets by the Italian Potito Starace in the semi-finals . In 's-Hertogenbosch he was also defeated in three sets, here against local hero Raemon Sluiter . At Grand Slam tournaments in 2007 in Roland Garros and in 2009 at the US Open, he made it into the second round. He could not achieve any further successes at any Grand Slam, not even in doubles, where he was always eliminated in the first round. In the world rankings, his best positions were 67th in singles and 127th in doubles, both of which he reached on March 2, 2009.
On April 3, 2013, he announced his retirement from professional tennis after his first round in Saint-Brieuc .
