Colin Ebelthite (born November 27, 1984 in Adelaide ) is a retired Australian tennis player .

Career

Ebelthite was mainly active as a double specialist. In his career he won four titles on the second-rate Challenger Tour , all with different partners. In the 2012 season he achieved his best placement on the World Tour at the tournament in Sydney together with Marinko Matosevic , when the Australians, who started with a wildcard , reached the semifinals . They lost to Matthew Ebden and Jarkko Nieminen in two sentences. In Grand Slam tournaments , Ebelthite reached the round of 16 at the Australian Open 2011 with Adam Feeney . In the singles he was only in the main field of a Grand Slam in 2009 thanks to a wildcard, also at the Australian Open. In the opening round he was clearly defeated by Andreas Beck 5: 7, 1: 6, 0: 6.
